Alexandra O. Zeitz is a doctoral candidate in International Relations at the University of Oxford, where her research is supported by the UK Economic and Social Research Council.

Her work focuses on international political economy, particularly developing countries’ position within the international financial system. For further details, see Research.

Her doctoral thesis, supervised by Ben Ansell and Ricardo Soares de Oliveira, is titled The Financial Statecraft of Debtors: The political economy of external finance in Africa.

Alexandra is a pre-doctoral research fellow at the Global Economic Governance Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. She is lecturer (non-stipendiary) in International Relations at University College, University of Oxford and a graduate teaching assistant in quantitative methods.
